THE SUNSHINE MAKES
Guests who were staying at the time of the Hope Bagot fete enjoyed a pleasant afternoon watching the Dog Show, it was a great success and the Church benefit with a good turn out with extra funds for the Church.
The roses are out in full bloom and the smell is divine right outside the Lodge decking area (pictured). Also a cutting of the same rose continues to climb up to the top of the tree directly opposite Thomas House.
This has been a great summer for roses. Here are some pictures of our rambling rose – now having climbed nearly forty feet to the top of one of our trees, it’s a living memento of the elderly local gentleman who gave it to us not long after we moved to Thomas House. The delicate pinky-orange flower clusters look wonderful in the sunlight.
