Titterstone Clee

AUGUST  NEWS.

August is continuing with very high temperatures many days have reach 30 degrees, our last guests welcomed the shade of the swinging seat at the end of the lodge and also the cool of the fan inside of the lodge.  The bedrooms do not get much  sun so they did not need the duvet only the cool sheets.

Saturday evening Clive and I and my brother from Grange over Sands went to the top of theTitterstone Clee and had a very good view of the surrounding area and a walk along the path to the large golf ball which is for aviation purposes.  Then to Clee Hill  fish and chip shop for a treat  and eat outside watching the birds, rabbits and sheep all around us sitting on the common. What a lovely change.  Very good they were too.
