2017 began with our Texas guest and sister leaving saying that they will be back. They left on the 2nd January 2017, and wrote in the Visitors Book, “Another wonderful Xmas vacation, love coming here, we will be back.”
We already have 13 weeks booked for this year, and on the 3rd January another booking came in for a week in January.
Many guests book when they leave, in order to have the same week year after year. We so look forward to seeing them all and hearing what they have been up to since their last stay here in Acorn Lodge.
We were so pleased that the Miller family were able to come for a few days as they have been coming for at least 27 years. Even the Morris family have managed to come back for a few days – they were one of our first guests in the Mobile Hone that we had before building the Lodge.
Some guests took the opportunity to return for a second stay in the same year, as we decided to offer a special incentive if you come again within the same year.
4 Star rating and Gold Award was gained once again from the Heart of England assessment of the Lodge.
