MARCH NEWS 2019

The day of the spring equinox brought some warmth to the air and some sunny blue skies.

We ventured out in the car and staying relatively local to Acorn Lodge came across some beautiful little hamlets with their own churches. It was a beautiful sight to see all the spring flowers in full bloom in the pretty churchyards and new born lambs in the surrounding fields. Days like these are good for the soul!

From a recent guest:

“Whilst holidaying at Acorn Lodge we took advantage of the information provided in the Motor tours to Hidden Gems folder and discovered The Kerry Ridgeway. A beautiful drive with a lovely walk and spectacular views. One of those places where you don’t see a single soul and you can hear the silence.

Absolutely stunning and highly recommended.

(The Kangaroo Inn on the road back makes a great pitstop for a delicious pint of real ale!)”
